Scott and Shandi Wyckoff were in the third group of seven (7) families to build with Self-Help Homes back in 2001 and 2002. Scott went on to get his Masters degree in Public Administration at BYU and now works in administration in the medical field. Scott is also on his second stint serving as a board member on the Self-Help Homes Board of Trustees. Three years after moving into their home, Brilley Wyckoff, then age 5, entered her drawing into a national poster contest of other Self-Help Home builders and took second place. Then Congressman Cannon and the USDA-RD State Director, presented her with a $100 savings bond award with a framed poster of her own drawing for her efforts.
