Bank of American Fork officials presented Self-Help Homes with a $15,000 donation check April 23, 2014. These funds will be used to support the Mutual Self-Help Program. Bank of American Fork and Self-Help Homes have been partners for over 14 years. Bank of American Fork donated the first construction trailer, trailer wrap and lock boxes to hold all of the construction and power tools needed for the building process. Since then, they have donated or shared costs for four other trailers. These trailer donations have played an important role in the success of the families that have built their homes through the Mutual Self-Help Program. They have also serviced the bank accounts for over 300 participating families and their USDA-RD 502 Construction Funds. Bank of American Fork’s financial and other contributions have been vital to our mission of providing safe, affordable housing in our area.
